➡️Myth: Microneedling is painful
Fact: Microneedling has an unfortunate name – but don’t let that turn you off! At BeautybyM we use topical numbing cream, you will not feel any discomfort during the treatment.

➡️Myth: The treatment can’t be done around the eyes or lips.
Fact: Thanks to advancements in both science and skincare, microneedling can safely be done around the lips and eyes as long as the right device is used, like our Rejuvapen. The benefits of microneedling on lax and sagging skin around the eyes can be very impressive!

➡️Myth: Microneedling Only treats Fine lines and Wrinkles
Fact: While microneedling is primarily done to correct the fine lines and sagging skin that accompanies the aging process, it has been shown to be effective in reducing scars, stretch marks or enlarged pores

➡️Myth: There is too much downtime!
Fact: Microneedling is ideal for patients who want a resurfacing treatment with minimal downtime.
While every patient heals differently, typically we see about 2 days of moderate redness.
For the first 48hrs, only apply moisturisers (preferably post treatment moisturisers) and avoid make-up.
After those first 2 days most of the redness, along with any minor swelling, peeling will have subsided and makeup can be applied. Dryness may take an extra 2-5 days to disappear.
