As we age, these vessels loose their elasticity and can become permanently dilated. Ageing, pregnancy, smoking, sports, weather and hormones are just a few of the many causes.
Thermocoagulation does not use a laser, instead a very fine needle is used to isolate each vein or capillary, to cut off the blood flow so that it is no longer visible through the skin.
Thermocoagulation is an effective method for the removal of broken capillaries, red veins on the face. There is no guesswork and no expensive courses to follow. 
Results are instant and in most cases a second treatment is not necessary. In cases where there is extensive broken capillaries on the nose and cheeks, a course of treatment is sometimes required.

This treatment is also used to remove milia - small white, bump-like cysts - from the eye, cheek area.
